I have a 1965 dodge on which the gas and temp gages have never worked. I dug into it
recently and found that the gages are the thermal types and they're all burned, as was
the fuel sender. There was a spare fuel sender in the tool box and 2 other fuel gages
in the glove box, which makes me think the previous owner kept swapping them out and kept
having trouble. The truck currently has a 12V system and a 318 engine, but I know it didn't
come from the factory with the 318. At this point, I'm guessing the gages are all burned
because they're 6V gages. Does anybody know for sure? Thanks.
