Thanks, but that's a puzzle because the little wires in the temp gage
were burnt through and both temp and fuel gage coils were all bubbly
and charred. Also, there's a secondary heater coil with a pair of
contacts inside the fuel gage which seems to always try to open up.
Any idea what it's for?
