John is right: "M6" is a 12,000 pound upright winch best mounted behind the cab. It's quite heavy for a PW. The "234" is different than the winch model designations in my old Braden catalogs too, so I can't help there. The absence of a "U" in the model number means it is an overwind winch, not an Underwind winch. That may not be all that important of you have a reversible PTO and don't plan on heavy winch work.
