$2,800.00 to paint the Cab & nose??

This includes using soda ash instead of sand to strip the metal to bare inside and out, prep work, priming and red paint with a clear coat. Is this way out of line? Did not relise it cost this much to put a nice paint jon on it with no real body work or cancer to fix. Mark H.
