Mark you don't have to clear coat, I'm not going to clear coat on the PW. I'm using a single stage paint like I used on my headlight buckets, they are shiny enough and I cut my paint budget by a ton, that is the expensive stuff and less chance of a mistake. Paint and primer will be about a total of $400 for the FF. I'm using PPG Delstar DAR9000 and mixing it a little thicker than the can says it is too thin otherwise. Gallon cost me $150 with the reducer and hardener and will make almost 2 gallons total when mixed enough to do 2 trucks.
