On an older forum Joe Cimoch commented there had been about 95,000 flat fender Dodge Power Wagons manufactured between 1946-1968.
Does anyone know how many have survived?
A good project for Forum # 100 would be to offer some kind of count of those surviving trucks. Obviously, it could not be accurate. However, some kind of informal reporting would provide an approximation of how many are left.
I live in Memphis and I own the only PW ff in the city. However, I know of two others in a junkyard in north Mississippi. There are not many in this part of the country. I am certain there are more out west.
Someone would have to take count and verify there is no duplicate reporting. Without giving up details on that treasure find you are waiting to buy we might be able to do it with only a county by county reporting.
