Norm,
you don't need a framing square, the lower edge of the cab or rocker is parallel with the running boards and the back of the cab is at a right angle to the rocker. Using the running board brackets to level the frame will put the floor of the bed when level at a right angle to the back of the cab. Pheeeewwwww did I say that right???
