I'm doing a frame up on a 48 and have had guys look at the frame and figure it is powder coated.
One thing I would like to add to Chris's advice, make sure you clean the rim of the paint can good before closing it. I have had to cut open cans after the POR-15 dries in the rim, the lid is there to stay.
