All good responses. Pull the plugs first, If you can't see or 'hear' the problem, next pull the manifolds and the pan and look for debries, then pull the head and start looking for cylinder damage. It may simply be that one or more exhaust valves are stuck shut and not letting the ATF out, or it is a damaged part, but do not force!
