In Reply to: What is the Differances between a WC-1 and WC-12? posted by Gary on Saturday, December 14, 2002 at 10:04PM :
WC-1 is a T-207 series. They had smaller rear brakes than a WC-12(T-211 series) T-207 series had had Bendix Wiess type front drive axles while Some T-211's had Rzeppa type. Some WC 12's produced late in the run had 230 engines while all WC-1's had 217 motors. Basically they were the same truck as stated before but they did make some changes. More changes were made on the T-215 order(WC-40)
The US goverment ordered them in "batches" and this is why there are different model #'s for basically the same truck. Probably more differences than I listed and I'm sure others will point them out.
Don't know on the seat material question. Might try the WW2 Dodge Forum if no one here knows. Link at the top of this page. Kevin
