Well, after constant nagging from my wife to get a "dependable" truck, we went and looked at one today at a dealership. I'm wondering if you guy's think it's a good deal as I dont buy "new" trucks. It's a '99 Dodge 2500 diesel SLT. It's set up for gooseneck and has a class 3 receiver hitch. It's a quad cab with a 5 speed, 3.55 gears. 72,000 miles. I got them down to $21,700 on the cost of the truck from $22850. It also has brand new cooper tires and nice wheels, it has new brakes all around. I know the original owner who traded it in on a crewcab GMC duramax, he paid $31,000 for it. I would say it is in good+ to excellent shape.
I hate to pay that kind of money, but do we ever have a choice?
I guess that's the great thing about America, if you cant afford it, you can always finance it!
