The seal seats into a counterbore in the housing. The face of the counterbore doesn't contribute to the sealing, so I used it as a jacking surface. I drilled pilot holes for self tapping screws and tried to push the seals out.
No good. Seated too long. Outer diameter seal is stronger than the metal of the seal.
