I'm lost... please, find me! (drums, axle shafts)

I do not have access to a Hydraulic press. How do I remove the drums and axle shafts without a press? All I'm trying to do is inspect the brakes and do a differential gasket. Is it possible to do this without tearing the whole thing apart? Help!!
