I dont get it....

Why are PW's that have been modified with 318ci motors and NP420 transmissions, 4.89 gears, worth so much less than thier 230ci crashbox counterparts? Remember that green flatfender on E-bay with the 318 and front discs and 489's? It even had the winch and a good bed with canvas cover. That did'nt sell and I think the bid went up to 9k. I would have thought it would have gone to at least 15k. Original counterparts are selling way above that on E-bay and here also. I just wonder why it seems the the money you throw into the v-8, you should take twice that off the value of the truck.
