Rear Axle Wheel bearings

Are the rear axle wheel bearings on a WM300 lubricated by oil from the diff or are they supposed to be packed with grease? Does the rear axle have inner axle shaft oil seals, and if they need to be replaced, is there room to replace the backing plate rivets with grade 8 bolts? Thanks
