Thanks for posting to remind all. My father was a WWII veteran as was an uncle who became a 18 month long power in Germany. Many men in my neighborhood were also participants and when I joined the workforce in the early 70s,Many of my work mentors were quiet veterans who not only served the country, but helped to build this nation. I have traveled to pearl harbor and the beaches of Normandy. By far the beaches at Normandy are more moving to me.
