When I put my truck together I used reproduction rubber cab mounts. These mounts might have been a little taller than original, but not by much judging by the gap between the cab hem under the floor board and the top of the frame (about half and inch).

When the cab mounts wear out, these two points come into contact, which can make the inside of the cab very noisy when driving. Most Power Wagons I've seen are either touching here, or you can see a wear grove in the top of the frame from where the cab was rubbing in the past.

My goals when putting the front clip together were to get consistent gaps between the hood, cab, and radiator cowl, and at the same time get the side seam of the hood to line up with the belt line of the cab. In all it turned out very well, with priority given to consistent gaps along the hood.
