On the WC12 there is no insulators and that's why your getting noise. The TC being helical cut gears should it self be rather quiet unless worn. If there are any issues with the ring/pinion in the rear axle, you'll hear that to. Making some mounts to add insulators to the WC12 TC would really help in eliminating drivetrain noise. Here is a link to someone who made a cross member for an M37 to mount a divorced NP205, should give you some ideas. This link gives guidance on how to install an NP200 in the 1/2 ton and may be of some use.
