Yep, there are lot of tings that can really rattle you up:
- If the engine insulators are bad, you're hear it
- If the cab body bolt filler block pads are bad, you're gonna hear it
- If the cab transmission floor cover rests on top of the transmission, you're really going to hear it
- The WC54 uses TC mount insulators c-921002, those probably can be installed on your truck
You might want to start with making sure all insulators are good, and go from there. As far as the transmission, spur gears try to climb each other so if the wear is greater than .002 where needle bearings are used, it's going to make noise.
