Thats what im doing now.. clutch pedal half ingauged i get a noise .. new clutch bearing but couldnt find the right pilot so i left it in.. only made the noise at take off and reverse. I pulled the trans and found a pilot bushing that would fit.. my crank was not drilled for the pilot bushing that would It is a 318 with an undersized pilot. .. hopefully it will fix it
