The mid-fifties Corvettes exhaust sound was raether distinct. I remember a guy who brought measurements for the exact location of the Corvette mufflers and a pair of factory mufflers to my friend who owned a muffler shop. Following those measurements installing the mufflers on his '55 Chevy, it sounded exactly like a Corvette. Maybe there's hope for our PWs? :)
