Disc brake conversion help

Brought in from another shop, 1953 flat fender Power Wagon with front disc brake conversion, can not achieve a firm brake pedal, it ha s a fire wall mounted booster and master with 1 and 1/16 bore. seams like a lot of lost motion in the front system. I have bled and back bled, and adjusted rears, different calipers have been installed.
Any input from anyone that has installed this kit would be appreciated. Thanks Jay
