Hi Bill,
Glass comes in three sizes, 1/8, 3/16 and ¼ thickness. ¼ is most common used in the side windows, 3/16 is sometime used in vehicles, and 1/8 normally in back windows in vehicles, FFPW is all 1/4 thickness. Steele Rubber Products has a guide to help select the proper runs for the year of the vehicle. When I did my doors, I used black felt material instead of chrome for the runs. On the front division bar, I used a 2” wide Velcro loop strap, then riveted the felt strip and the strap to the channel. The window must be snug in the channels, or the window will bind when rolling up or down. At first it will be a little tight and as time goes by parts will settle down and roll up/down easier. Depending what material you used, it could be the problem.
