Gasoline cook stoves were all the rage at one time in our history. They were very efficient, clean burning, and didn't heat up the kitchen as much as burning wood or coal. But, they had a tendency to burn down buildings.

I am with you. Get the bugs worked out first. Don't even start me on the infrastructure.
