The truck did not have an engine when I got it.. If I remember correctly the angles of the output shafts were were close if not even.. I will remeasure to confirm.

The left to right axis of the transmission output shaft, compared to the transfer case must also be part of this investigation. Does one use the centerline of the truck frame?
