To add to what Chris said, the U-joints need to be clocked dead parallel. I've found a couple factory driveshafts where the U-joints were not parallel and needed to be cut and rewelded. A few degrees off can make a difference.

An easy way to check the alignment is to set the assembled driveshaft on a flat surface to confirm the bearing caps are flat/parallel with each other.
