Hi. 66FFPW with mechanical fuel pump and stock carb. I have a glass fuel filter right at the entrance to the carb. As the truck sits for a few days to a week, I see that fuel filter empties. The glass bowl under the pump stays full, and I don't see any leaks anywhere. When I go to start it after maybe a week, it won't even try to catch. Even extended (maybe 30 seconds worth over the course of a few minutes) cranking does not bring fuel up to the filter. I put some fuel down the vent cap on the carb to fill the bowl (I think) and dribble a bit into the throat, and I can get it running. Once it's running, then fuel comes up and I'm fine. What is going on? I assume air is getting into the fuel line somewhere that's letting the gas flow out by gravity, and then I also a weak fuel pump that takes the higher rpm of a running motor to pump fuel up? Thanks for any insights. Dan
