Paint Application Question

I need to spray some flat (forest green probably) paint on my M880. I can't get to my compressor and gun at this time but I do have a Wanger airless paint sprayer. I've used it with latex in the house but would it work for synthetic enamel or an oil based paint. I will likely use Aervoe. Has anybody tried this? Thanks
