screws and bolts

One can buy the screws and bolts that attach the left and right removable floor pans and the trans cover to the cab floor pan, but I want to use button head socket screws because they are round on top. It just seems more practical to lessen the effect of exposed hard edges on the floor. Does anyone know the sizes of screws and bolts? The parts manual does not give the sizes. Also, for some reason I think the floor pan screws may have used U type nut clips. Can anyone verify that or say it ain't so?
