You can do it with 38" tires and 4.30 ratio. It will be slow acceleration from a dead stop and going through the gears and especially 4th gear. You'd be using a good half throttle or better to cruse at 60mph and mpg will probably be terrible, and so will climbing hills, 36" tires not much better. Going to 4.30 is best with a V8 in my opinion.
