B1PW master cylinder question

I just finished brakes on my '48 and used everything new from VPW except drums which were turned with hubs. Everything went well and brakes worked perfect. My question is the 1/8" pipe plug in bottom of master cylinder which was not present in the old one i took off. I saw no reason to take this plug out when i put in on but now it drops a spot about the size of a penny overnight. I have tries several types of sealer to no avail so what can i use to seal it? I don't want to take it out draining the master cylinder and doing it again. Thanks
