On my W200, I have 33" X 12.50 tires on 16.5's, without a lift. I think that this is the largest you can go without ripping up the front of the front wheel wells using the stock suspension. You could go with 35" in the rear, no problem, but you'll never get them to fit in the front without body damage. I've seen 44" on these trucks after some serious suspension work.
