Found a 1 ton bed with fender flairs at a good deal
Needing the bed with-out extended fenders
Patching holes that are there to mount fender need filling
Welding will cause buckling and warping
What about epoxy a coupon of steel on interior, for filler to use as backer to avoid potential cracks in future
Any thoughts or product to use to avoid welding
