The main reason was moisture absorption , causing reduced efficiency and pitting / corrosion . But since I’m getting the components sleeved in stainless , sort of negates most of the reason , and after reading the link you posted , I don’t think the hassle is worth it . Think Ill stick to an everyday garden variety fluid , which works just fine , maybe just change the fluid every couple of years .
I’m much obliged for the info Vaughn., was just what I wanted to know .
