Just went out and looked at 2 70 W200's in my yard. Yes, it is the correct tank. However, you are getting the wrong sender unit. It is probably the sender for the pre 69 tank, which is smaller and has the sender in the middle of the tank. In 70/71 the tanks are much larger and the sender has 2 tubes on it. One faces right for fuel to the engine and the other is a vapor vent that faces left with a line to a charcoal canister.
