The vapor vent in 70/71 is a smog thing. The canister it attaches to is either behind the seat or under the cab - I forgot which. I don't have picture posting capability. Contact 61-71 dodge truck parts .com for more details on the correct sender.
Yes - "right" always means passenger side in a vehicle.
