So Vaughns post about those XZLs got me thinking and reading alot of forum threads.
I am looking to put new tires on my 1960 WM300 FFPW with the original GYLTS rims. I am currently running NDT tires which are all dry rotted and have some good slits and chunks missing. The only choices i have found so far are:
Power King NR50 M&S for 350ea
Power King Super Traction tire, load range D(10 Ply) for 280ea
STA Superlug Mud and Snow for 289ea
XZLs for 450ea
A few questions:
Besides looks are the XZLs a better ride and worth the 450 price tag?
I have a stock height/equipment WM300, will the XZL fit without rubbing at full steer and suspension compression?
Anything i should be concerned with putting the XZLs on my rig?
Does anyone have an better suggestions?
Thanks
Glenn
