these aren’t great on ice and they’ll break loose sideways pretty fast in snow. Typical old school - hard rubber with conservative grooves. Not as scary as ndt but nothing as secure as modern snow tire traction. I wouldn’t commute on them in the winter. They are always chained up to plow.
