Drove right through my area (Newcastle / Auburn). Should stop by next time. Would like to check out the truck. Orange 64 W200 with tool box bed correct??
The u-joints are either the Spicer 7260 or 5380 (1 ton size option). They are both internal snap ring style. If the driveshafts have been modified or rebuilt, there is a good chance they have an adapter u-joint. The 7260 would cross with a 1310 (external snap ring). The 5380 would likely cross over to the common 1410 series (external snap ring). I have used these adapter u-joints (7260/1310 and 5380/1410) when I have rebuilt driveshafts or have adapted to newer axles.
