Appreciate the thought and willing to get your opinion out there. I did run the engine for 1 hour with that filter in place and tested the fuel pressure out of the pump with that filter there. I mainly wanted to see if any other particles came out of the tank before they got harder to see in the other filter/pump bowl and got mixed with any older particles. Not to say that it isn't better removing as many restrictions as possible for the long term.
