Let us know how the road test goes on the can. I still stay, remove the filter between the tank and pump and leave the filter between the pump and carb. you don't need a filter between the tank and pump, there is a screen on the inlet side of the pump to catch debris from the tank....filters have too much restriction for good flow to the input side of the pump.
