My biggest concern with the Hemi is the valve seats. It doesn't seem to be a super common problem. But, it is common enough that people seem to talk about it a lot. My father-in-law says he sees a lot of them in the shop. But, he runs one of the last machine shops in town, which means he sees every bad motor. The 5.9 cummins and the 7.3 powerstroke are the only motors semi-modern motors he ever says anything good about
