Straightening the top rails on FF bed side panels??

Anybody attempted this before on a stock FlatFender bed? The rails (1&1/4" diameter tube) are a little bent up & dented from 50 years of "doin the job" and I am looking for a way to get them back in shape (and the tailgate). The side panels are O.K. but the top rails themselves need a little straightening & the dents taken out. Any tips on this before I ruin my bed trying to fix it? Thanks!
