Kaegi, the 361 and 383 are the same block, both are b blocks. there was one 383 rb block made in 60-61 but I havn't seen one in 40 years. the RB blocks start at 413cuin and go 413,426(both wedge and hemi) and 440.(400 is a b block also) the fuel pump rods are the same on all, as has been stated. all heads after 64 interchange with all the wedges (exc. hemi of course), if the fuel pump rod is in place, it is a bad fuel pump.
