When I built my 36' x 50' attached garage I had the electrical inspection find a problem with my electrical. I put a 100 amp sub panel in the garage feeding from the house main. He said I'd have to disconnect the ground wire I had installed to a ground rod I had put in outside. Told me the house's ground off the main panel is all that should be there. Since when can you have too many grounds???? LOL I guess they have to find "something" to show authority.
