Hi Vaughn,
I did what you did when putting my WC-12(Salad) together back in 2016. VPW said that even though the parts book shows the anti-squeak material, it was not installed between the fender and the splash in the Military trucks. Don’t know if that is the gospel truth or not. All I know, is that it looks real nice when installed.
