You don't have to pull the Diff.
Remove the yoke and pull the seal.

Old NOS leather seals Must be soaked in oil prior to installing.

DC Parts is the only person I know of that had a modern lip seal made to fit the carrier without an adapter.
Check with him and see if he has any more.
