After a couple of short drives a month ago, I had a couple issues not leaving me comfortable. Part was just getting used to the basic performance of the truck. As I was going around a sharp turn to get out of my back yard, the truck was shuddering and the speed once moving was very low. I guessed, and was correct, that it was in 4WD. The dash label is confusing to me so I jacked up the truck to confirm wheels turning with lever position. I also felt like the brakes were not retracting all the way so I shortened the push rod length 2 turns (thanks to forum advice). This time the test drive was much more comfortable. I did not grind hamburger with every shift, the brakes felt fine, I used the GPS and achieve a comfortable 40mph.Between test drives, I did install the cardboard interior which came out pretty good, door and kick panels along with arm-rests. also found the rear view mirror bracket I forgot I had hanging on the wall. My repaired temp gauge quit working so I need to investigate. Some more little stuff like the dash knobs, wipers, blades, alignment and tailpipe. More drives but doubt I will do any long trips like jim and others. Brave souls.
