Well, interesting you ask.
Today was the first time we chose a off-road destination and went out off-road and found it. See image. In fact I wrote a blog update all about it.
Julie did some napkin-math and is thinking maybe 100 miles a day? Some days more if we have paved or gravel sections. If we can do 100 a day we'll be fine. Six days scheduled and its less than 600 miles.
Make sure your tire rack is easily detached. I'm planning on using the old original "cover your driver's door with the spare" method. At least its well tested.
I'm thinking about a quick mounting far a dirt bike on the back of mine. Low on the priority though.
