FFPW Brake Booster

I am doing a frame up restoration of a 1951 FFPW. I have a donor truck that has a vacuum brake booster system on it. I am considering transferring the booster to my restoration truck.

1. Will I see a noticeable improvement in braking if I transfer the booster system to my restoration truck?

2. How much work and parts will be required to restore the booster?

3. Should I even try to restore the booster myself?

4. Where can I have the booster system restored if I send it out?
